How the WiFi module works?

1. Active serial device networking:

Active serial WiFi module device networking refers to the way that the device initiatively connects and interacts with the background server for data (upload or download). Typical active devices, such as wireless POS machines, begin to connect to the background server and upload transaction data after each transaction is completed. The topology structure of PUSH serial device networking is shown in the right figure. Among them, the background Server serves as the TCP Server end, and the device is connected to the network through the wireless AP/ router and serves as the TCP Client end.

2. Passive serial device networking:

Typical applications, such as some wireless sensor networks, each sensor terminal is always collecting data in real time, but the collected data is not uploaded immediately, but temporarily saved in the device.
