How the WiFi module works?

1. Active serial device networking:

Active serial WiFi module device networking refers to the way that the device initiatively connects and interacts with the background server for data (upload or download). Typical active devices, such as wireless POS machines, begin to connect to the background server and upload transaction data after each transaction is completed. The topology structure of PUSH serial device networking is shown in the right figure. Among them, the background Server serves as the TCP Server end, and the device is connected to the network through the wireless AP/ router and serves as the TCP Client end.

2. Passive serial device networking:

Passive serial Wifi Modules China device networking refers to that all devices in the system are always in a passive state of waiting for connection, and only the background server initiatively initiates the connection with the device and requests or submits data. Typical applications, such as some wireless sensor networks, each sensor terminal is always collecting data in real time, but the collected data is not uploaded immediately, but temporarily saved in the device.

The background server periodically connects to the device at regular intervals and requests data upload or download.

At this point, the background Server is actually the TCP Client end, while the device is the main feature of the TCP Server end: 2.4ghz, IEEE 802.11b/g internal PCB antenna. Optional external antenna supports ap-based network (Infrastructure)/ peer-to-peer ad-hoc (IBSS)/virtual AP mode. IPHONE/IPAD/Android devices can also connect directly without AP/ router to support 802.11i encryption: Wep-64/128,TKIP (wpa-psk) and AES(wpa2-psk)MCU built-in TCP/IP stack 3-channel UART serial interface (including 1 channel supporting DMA mode, full function serial port, maximum baud rate support 921.6Kbps)SPI interface, I2S/PCM interface Digital Video port up to 24 GPIO ports (some GPIO will be reused with the above interface) full function TCP/IP stack, TCP/IP transmission bandwidth of more than 10Mbps supports three types of WiFi energy-saving mode with timing automatic wake-up function
